Calendar of Events

Things to do for adults, teens, and children at the Brookfield Branch.

The Brookfield Branch Library opened in February 1982, the second branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. It occupied several rented storefront locations before moving into a new 2,000 square foot library-owned facility in February 1990. The branch expanded in 1999, adding a 2,800 square foot addition. The library underwent additional renovations in 2016, increasing its size from 4,800 to 5,900 square feet and adding a public meeting room with a ceiling mounted projector and screen. Other improvements included additional shelving, furnishing, and parking spaces.

As a popular reading center, the Brookfield Branch features a small collection of reference and local history materials. A more extensive reference collection is available at the Main Library at 444 Mahoning Ave. NW in Warren.

Materials available at the library include:

  • Adult/teen/children’s fiction and non-fiction books
  • Magazines/newspapers
  • Music CDs
  • Audiobooks
  • Entertainment and educational DVDs including some Blu-ray format
  • Graphic novels
  • Large print books
