At the Brookfield Branch Library. Children gain confidence and improve their reading skills as they read to an uncritical and tail-wagging audience. Children in grades K - 6 may sign up for 15-minute sessions to read aloud to a registered therapy dog at the library. Dogs are provided by Pet Partners through its Read to Me program. Pet Partners is a national non-profit organization that focuses on animal-assisted therapy, activities and education. Registration is required; call (330) 448-8134 to sign up.
