Things to do for adults, teens, and children at the Howland Branch Library.
History
During 1990, the Howland Branch first began service in a Howland Plaza storefront. The branch celebrated the grand opening of its new building on East Market Street in April 1998. The building sits on four acres with approximately 10,200 square feet. Unique features include an amphitheater-style story garden for children; a fireplace and lounge area as well as a reading courtyard for adults; and a Teen Area with books and magazines for young adults. The building uses a geothermal heating/cooling system.
