Employee Benefits
The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library (W-TCPL) offers a wide range of benefits to staff members based on position classification, the number of hours worked per week, and length of service.
Temporary employees are only eligible for the Ohio Public Employees Retirement Plan, unless offered regular employment status.
Time Off Benefits:
- Vacation (15 – 22 days per year) after one continuous year of service and depending on job classification
- Sick leave (15 days per year) after 30 days of service.
- Holidays (about 11 per year)
- Bereavement leave, if warranted
Retirement Program:
- As an employee of the W-TCPL (whether full-time, part-time, temporary), membership into the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) is automatic.
- Voluntary participation also available for Deferred Compensation.
Group Insurance:
- Health, Dental, Vision, and other Supplemental Programs available to staff working at least 25 hours per week. Employee premiums for Health and Dental are pro-rated to the number of hours worked if working less than full-time hours.
