Ask us! Reference service
Got a question? Ask a librarian with W-TCPL’s reference service by email!
Using the Email Reference Form, you can have brief questions answered or get suggestions on sources and locations that may help you find answers to more lengthy questions. If you want your answer limited to resources that you can find on the Internet, please let us know. For example, “Where on the Web can I find the Fortune 500?”
Questions will be answered within 48 hours or less, excluding weekends and holidays and during normal business hours.
To help us answer your question more efficiently, please fill out the form completely. We must have your COMPLETE and CORRECT email address to reply to your question.
This free service is available to individuals, families, and organizations. You can book 30-minutes a week each week, as necessary. Book-a-Librarian sessions are tailored to your research needs, whether you are seeking general information from an Adult Services Librarian or more focused family history research information with a Local History & Genealogy Center Librarian.
Librarians are not able to assist with computer troubleshooting, setting up a laptop, credit card/money transactions, tasks involving confidential information, or typing jobs. Library staff cannot do your research for you, nor can we do research for hire. We are unable to assist with most online ordering.
People who wish to book a session working with online research resources need to have basic computer skills including the use of the mouse. (Free Library Computer Classes)
The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library welcomes comments and suggestions from library customers. Thank you for caring enough about the library to help us improve our service.
