Hours will Expand Sept. 6 at Libraries in Cortland, Howland, and Liberty

(08/29/2022) – The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library system will offer expanded hours beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at the libraries in Cortland, Howland, and Liberty as those locations return to their pre-pandemic operating hours.

W-TCPL Executive Director Jim Wilkins says the new hours will provide students and their families, as well as customers who work during the day, with more time to study, use the library’s computers, and check out books and other materials.

“We are very happy to be able to offer our customers additional time to visit our libraries,” Wilkins said. “This is another way we are making it as convenient as possible for everyone to access library services and materials.”

The Warren Library also returned to its pre-pandemic hours when it reopened on August 20 after completion of its building renovation project.

Effective Sept. 6, 2022, the hours of operation for each W-TCPL library location will be:

Brookfield Library (no change to hours): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday closed.

Cortland Library (new hours): Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday closed.

Howland Library (new hours): Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday closed.

Liberty Library (new hours): Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday closed.

Lordstown Library (no change to hours): Monday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday closed.

Warren Library (new hours): Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday closed.
