About the Interlibrary Loan Service

Interlibrary Loan is a special service of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library for all users holding a valid W-TCPL library card. If an item is not owned by W-TCPL, the Interlibrary Loan staff can search library catalogs all over the country and attempt to borrow the item for you.

It generally takes one to four weeks to acquire the item through W-TCPL’s Interlibrary Loan service. More time may be required depending on the item being requested. If it is not possible to borrow the item that you requested, the Interlibrary Loan staff will let you know.

Interlibrary Loan materials must be returned by the date due. Overdue fines of 50¢ per day apply. Renewal of Interlibrary Loan materials is dependent on the lending library. Call (330) 399-8807, ext. 110 to inquire about renewal.

If you have any questions, or would like to request an item, please call us at (330) 399-8807, ext. 110.

When you are searching for a particular item:

2. If the W-TCPL does not have the item, try using the SearchOhio option to see if the item is available to borrow from another library in this large network of Ohio libraries.

3. If you are still unable to locate the item, you can request assistance for an interlibrary loan search from library staff:
