Online Event Oct. 26 at 2 PM: Ghost Stories of the Civil War

(09/29/2021) – Join the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library and historian Paul Goebbel online via Zoom on Tues., Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. for a free presentation about ghost stories from the Civil War.

The Civil War is full of stories that fall well within the realm of the speculative. Many of the stories are probably only local legends and folklore, but a good ghost hunter knows that these types of tales can sometimes have a basis in fact. This presentation will feature first-person accounts of paranormal activities at U.S. Civil War sites. Audience participation and interaction is encouraged, and guests will be invited to share their own paranormal experiences.

This live online event will take place using the free Zoom video conferencing platform. Participants can join the event from a home computer, smartphone, or tablet.

Call the Adult Services Department at the Warren Library to register and get the Zoom link via email: (330) 399-8807 ext. 200 or send an email to: ref@wtcpl.org.
