The Mobile Library Services Department provides delivery of library materials by mail to eligible individuals. This service is free of charge for individuals with vision impairment, or other persons who cannot read or use conventionally printed materials.
Eligibility

Who qualifies for Outreach Library Service? Individuals who are verified to:
Library By Mail Items
Materials available include: books; large print books (14-point font or larger); large print editions of Reader’s Digest and Guideposts; audiobooks on CD; and music CDs. Outreach Library Service customers may have no more than 2 books at one time. Customers may request specific titles, or library staff will choose materials based on customer preferences.
Individuals who qualify for the Library by Mail Program are eligible for the free DVDs by Mail Program to borrow up to 4 DVDs at a time by mail. Customers can enjoy the DVDs (movies, documentaries) and then return the DVDs by mail at no charge.
The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, through the Library of Congress, offers a free program for individuals of all ages who have a disability that prevents them from reading regular print. Individuals in Trumbull County who are visually limited have the opportunity to participate in the free Talking Books program through the Library of Congress National Library for the Blind and Print Disabled. Qualified individuals will be supplied with a special Talking Book machine that plays “books” and “magazines.” Materials are sent directly in the mail to clients from the Ohio Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled. Library staff can provide customers with an application for this free service.
