Local History & Genealogy Center to Reopen Oct. 5 by Appointment Only

(09/24/2020) – The Local History & Genealogy Center located on the second floor of the Warren Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, will reopen to researchers Oct. 5 by appointment only.

Researchers must schedule an appointment to visit the Center between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. One-hour appointments may be made by calling (330) 399-8807 ext. 202 at least one day before a visit.

Up to two researchers at a time may use the books and other historic documents and files located in the Center. One computer and one Microfilm machine will also be available for public use. Reference assistance from Center staff will be limited due to social distancing guidelines.

Center staff are available to answer general genealogy questions and assist with searches submitted via email to lhg@wtcpl.org or through the Local History & Genealogy Request Form found on the library website at www.wtcpl.org.
