Building Project Updates

The newly remodeled and expanded Warren Library reopened with a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening Celebration on August 20, 2022.

The library is now open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.

We thank you for your cooperation and patience during this construction project and welcome you back to the library!

Building Project Overview

The Board of Trustees of the W-TCPL in early 2020 announced plans for a 14,800 sq. ft. one-story addition to be built onto the south side of the library in Warren. After some delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, construction began in spring 2021.

The addition will increase the library building’s size by about 25%, from 58,029 sq. ft. to about 72,000 sq. ft. The majority of the Warren Library’s new space will be utilized for the Children’s Department and the Teen Area to expand, offering enhanced programming and resources

Sections of the original part of the building were also renovated to better support the library’s increasing technology needs and the need for more flexible spaces and meeting rooms. The library will increase its number of meeting spaces from two to 11, with various size rooms to accommodate from 2 to 120 people.
